Sinton, PT Pupuk Indonesia and Arsari Group Enter Discussions for the Establishment of NPK Fertilizer Production Plants

Sinton Vantage Trading Pte. Ltd. (“Sinton”) key strengths lie in formed relationships with government-linked entities in India and Indonesia. Sinton is actively pursuing India-Indonesian government-to-government (G2G) trade opportunities by extending their presence in other agricultural goods such as buffalo meat, wheat, sugar, malnutrition supplements and milk powder. In Indonesia, Sinton is expanding their network by working with government-linked companies such as PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), one of the largest Indonesian fertilizer producers in Asia and with local private companies such as Arsari Group. Sinton is eager to make direct investments in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the fertilizer industry.

On December 6th, at PT Pupuk Indonesia’s head office in Jakarta, Sinton initiated discussions with PT Pupuk Indonesia and Arsari Group to build five fertilizer plants across Indonesia. On December 17th, the first kick-off session was held at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce. These discussions have included developing a long-term feedstock plan for the fertilizer plant as well as signing a memorandum of understanding between the parties.

The next meeting is scheduled to take place in mid January 2025.
